Pittsburghers love their pickles and Picklesburgh Pittsburghers love their pickles and Picklesburgh is back! Picklesburgh is Pittsburgh’s yearly festival celebrating the pickle and a pickle lover’s dream. I go every year for the great pickle-infused foods and drinks and get lots of fun photos and videos. For 2025, Picklesburgh returned to the Clemente and Warhol bridges, allowing for more space to enjoy your pickles and pickle foods. The festival even expands into downtown this year, where there are more pickles and pickle activities. There is now a mechanical pickle to ride. There is also live entertainment and pickle contests called the Dil-Cathlon, which I caught a bit of the bobbing for pickles. Picklesburgh is an amazing food festival and a joy to attend every year. Picklesburgh is in @downtownpitt and runs through Sunday, July 13 for all your pickle desires.

I was invited to my favorite museum, the @rockhall I was invited to my favorite museum, the @rockhall in Cleveland, Ohio, to see the @nbcsnl… Ladies and Gentlemen, 50 Years of Music. This is an amazing featured exhibit showcasing 50 years of music on SNL. I am such a fan of the show, love so many sketches and discovered so many bands and songs from the show. The exhibit has a recreation of the Studio 8H stage, outfits and memorabilia from the sketches and performances, and an archive of every musical performance of the 50 years. This is really a must visit for a SNL and music lover and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is always worth the drive from Pittsburgh.

Space Bar has been holding special events and cocktails featuring Barr Hill Gin. Also during Bees Knees Week, sipping a cocktail made with their spirits, sharing it on social media and tagging Barr Hill, they will plant 10 square feet of new pollinator habitat.

I was invited back to @kennywoodpark to taste my w I was invited back to @kennywoodpark to taste my way through the annual Bites and Pints Food and Drink festival. Each June, Kennywood has an international food festival set up around the Kennywood Lagoon. See more details and all I ate in the description. I love this event because I get to eat a lot of food not traditionally served at an amusement park. This year, there were eight stations featuring chef-inspired tastings. With my tasting card in hand, I traveled to several countries, trying different bites. This year’s menu is inspired by Cuban, Greek, Irish, Italian, Mexican, Polish, Spanish, and South Korean cuisine. Each booth usually has three different food items, and beers or signature beverages. Each item and be purchased with a punch on your tasting card or purchased à la carte. The tasting cards are an add-on to the park admission and can be purchased in 8, 12, or, for passholders, 15 bites.

The bites in the video:
Cuba: Ropa Vieja, Cubano, Tostones Rellenos
South Korea: Chicken Bao, Yaki Mandu dumplings
Ireland: Cottage Pie
Italy: Fried Zucchini Blossoms
Poland: Pierogies, Nalesniki
Mexico: Quesobirria
Spain: Churros
