I was invited back to @kennywoodpark to taste my w I was invited back to @kennywoodpark to taste my way through the annual Bites and Pints Food and Drink festival. Each June, Kennywood has an international food festival set up around the Kennywood Lagoon. See more details and all I ate in the description. I love this event because I get to eat a lot of food not traditionally served at an amusement park. This year, there were eight stations featuring chef-inspired tastings. With my tasting card in hand, I traveled to several countries, trying different bites. This year’s menu is inspired by Cuban, Greek, Irish, Italian, Mexican, Polish, Spanish, and South Korean cuisine. Each booth usually has three different food items, and beers or signature beverages. Each item and be purchased with a punch on your tasting card or purchased à la carte. The tasting cards are an add-on to the park admission and can be purchased in 8, 12, or, for passholders, 15 bites.

The bites in the video:
Cuba: Ropa Vieja, Cubano, Tostones Rellenos
South Korea: Chicken Bao, Yaki Mandu dumplings
Ireland: Cottage Pie
Italy: Fried Zucchini Blossoms
Poland: Pierogies, Nalesniki
Mexico: Quesobirria
Spain: Churros

Today 4/18 is the last day to get this incredible Today 4/18 is the last day to get this incredible @communitykitchenpgh fish fry! I went last week and I can confidently say this is up there as one of the best in the city. The fish was huge. It was double battered and seasoned nicely. The tarter sauce was delicious and made in house too.

I've been a supporter of Community Kitchen for a long time. They provide culinary training to individuals regardless of their past or present. They offer training programs, transitional employment opportunities, apprenticeships, and job placement services that are designed to meet them where they are at. They also provide hungry relief to the community, and run catering, butchery and food truck programs.
