I love fried chicken and desserts! Add in watching I love fried chicken and desserts! Add in watching the Pens game on a big screen and you’ve got a great night. I finally got to try @sugarbirdpgh chicken and donuts at the @plazaatnorthshore and watch a Pens playoff game while I was there. I ordered The Bird and Sugar Combo, which is 3 chicken tenders, fries, a donut and a dipping sauce. I got the SugarBird Sauce and a maple bacon donut. This was just the right combo for me. The tenders were great. They had thick breading, fried crispy and juicy on the inside. I also got some soft serve ice cream with hot fudge and cookie dough bites. They have lots of signature flavors and sundaes. Also great about this space is getting to watch the Pens game on the big screen in the plaza. I can see myself watching a bunch of Penguins, Pirates and Steelers games here. By the end of the game, there was a pretty big crowd with everyone’s cheering for the Pens and expressing disdain for the Flyers.

I was invited to start my #nfldraft2026 week at Ta I was invited to start my #nfldraft2026 week at Taste of the Draft, an event benefitting @genyouthnow, organized by @tasteofthenfl and hosted by PNC Bank. I was so grateful to be invited to this event. I learned a lot about GENYOUth from this event. They are a non-profit working to end student hungry, promote childhood physical activity and elevate student voices. This was an incredible event featuring food from over 20 Pittsburgh restaurants, live entertainment, remarks from prominent people, football related activities, and meet & greets with over 20 @Steelers and NFL greats. Thank you so much to GENYOUth for including me in this incredible event. If you want to learn more about @genyouthnow, visit their page.
The NFL Draft was one of the busiest weeks I've ha The NFL Draft was one of the busiest weeks I've had in a long time. Downtown and North Shore were so alive. I spent 4 days running around to events, visiting local vendors selling food and goods, and checking out the cool experiences. The likelihood of me attending another NFL Draft is pretty low so I took advantage of spending as much time there as possible. I created a bunch of videos already about the experience. I have more to come, and I have a full recap video coming to YouTube in the next couple of days. I'm especially thankful to @visitpittsburgh for including me in planning out social media Draft coverage this week and sharing my experiences with everyone.

The @visitpa Playmakers Present the Great Pennsylvania Mascot Race as part of the NFL Draft festivities allowed us to see who was truly the fastest PA mascot. It's Last Call at @fatheadspgh and this meant it w It's Last Call at @fatheadspgh and this meant it was time for one last headwich. If you haven't heard, Pittsburgh institution Fat Head's Saloon in Southside is closing its doors April 26. They are doing a last call giving people the opportunity to get a final meal and some merch. When I first moved to Pittsburgh, I frequented Fat Head's often. I spent 3 years living in Southside just around the corner regularly ordering the giant headwich sandwiches. It's a shame I didn't get there more often in recent years because my Mark's Mighty Fine Bovine Headwich I had for lunch was just as good as I remembered. It's sad to see Fat Head's go, but hopefully we'll see them again someday.

#AD I am partnering with the @national_aviary beca #AD I am partnering with the @national_aviary because, as one of the can’t-miss attractions of Pittsburgh, I get to see one of my favorite animals, the penguins. The aviary is located in Pittsburgh’s north side, blocks from the stadiums. It is home to over 500 different types of birds and other animals across 150 different species. It’s a great place to visit for people of all ages. While I was at the National Aviary, I got to experience one of the unique add-on opportunities, hand-feeding the rainbow lorikeets. I was given a little cup of sweet nectar to hold while the lorikeet landed on my arm and ate. However, my favorite place in the Aviary is Penguin Point, where there are many endangered African Penguins. I’m going to have to return to do an encounter with them sometime.
